5/23/10 fire update:
     It was on Burston Island not Saddleback. It might be noted for their efforts Dan and Cathy Mayfield and their fire pump and a couple other local volunteers were there first. It's that time of the year where folks wanting to burn....... Everyone should have a fire pump when doing this!! It spreads so quick. - Houston
     (So it sounds like it was a brush fire and not a cabin fire, at least at first! - Larry)

David Brown sent in these photos of a cabin on Saddleback Island burning yesterday.  His daughter Courtney gets the photo credits.  David asked me to post them so Greg and the Haggards will believe him about the fire.  Thank heavens the good Big Lake - Meadow Lakes Fire Department was able to put it out well enough that no one other than the owners can  see evidence of the fire.
